Free WiFi, so I could post pics of my cozy holiday digs and make everyone jealous. Lovely garden, where I could sip my tea and pretend I had green thumbs. , a washing machine - because who doesn't love doing laundry on vacation?
Snail trails under the sofa. such a nice touch to feel like I was sharing my room with slimy, slow-moving friends.

The rooms at Birch Knoll were so cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after our busy days exploring Ambleside. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with essentials, and it was great having both a bath and shower option available.
The only small downside was that one of the bathrooms only had a shower. But hey, it's just my personal preference for a relaxing soak in the tub.
